Grounded Through the Senses
A Gentle, Self-Paced Course to Support Mental Health Through Somatic Therapeutic Practices from the Yoga Tradition

A Soft Place to Land
Sometimes we disconnect from our bodies because we’ve had to - because life has felt too overwhelming to stay present with it all. If that’s been true for you, I want you to know: I see you.
Maybe you’re beginning to notice the impact of that disconnection - like not knowing how you feel, struggling to meet your needs, or feeling distant from yourself. Or maybe you’re just starting to wonder what it might be like to gently reconnect, with tools to help soothe and nurture what you find.
Grounded Through the Senses was created from that understanding. It’s here to help you feel more regulated, more at home in your body, and more connected to what matters to you. It’s an invitation to return to yourself - at your own pace, in your own time, in your own space. A soft landing. A supportive place to begin again.
For the practices in this course you don’t have to be “good” at meditating.
You don’t need to feel calm or centered.
You don’t need to have experience with yoga.
Just an interest in taking moments to get to know yourself better.
This Course Was Designed to Support You In:
Understanding how mental health challenges can shift the way we experience sensory information, and how to gently turn the volume up or down to support your nervous system
Exploring how emotions, physical needs, and boundaries show up in the body’s subtle language
Learning to track the somatic aspects of emotion without shutting down or becoming overwhelmed
Reconnecting with the living experience of your body, especially if you’ve felt disconnected
Finding simple, repeatable tools to return to your window of tolerance and gently expand it over time
Building a more compassionate, curious relationship with your mind-body experience, even in moments of stress

Hi, it’s nice to meet you!
I'm a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) in residential addiction treatment centers, supporting people as they navigate mental health concerns such as PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergent challenges, and psychological impacts from chronic pain. In these spaces, I’ve seen how simple, grounded practices - when offered with care and gentleness - can help people feel more at ease and connected to who they are.
